Payment Information

Full payment is required on the day of consultation. We accept EFTPOS, credit card or cash payments.

If you have a valid referral from your general practitioner and a Medicare card then you will be able to claim the Medicare rebate for part of the specialist consultation. Your Medicare claim will be automatically lodged with Medicare and the rebate will appear in your account typically within 24 hours.

Private Health Funds do not cover the cost of the consultation, but medicare does cover some of this cost.

Depending on your level of cover Private Health will contribute to the cost of surgery and hospital stay.

If you’d like more information on costs and billing please call our rooms and our friendly team will provide the information relevant to your surgery or procedure.

Please bring the following to your initial appointment:

• A valid referral from your GP

• Your Medicare Card

• Private Health Insurance details

• Relevant blood results, hearing test results, imaging scans & diagnostic investigations.

Parking is conveniently located at the rear of our building, providing easy access to our rooms through ramps and electronic sliding doors.

Alternatively, guests may enter through the front door, where street parking is available for a fee.

We are situated at 102a Drummond Street, North Ballarat, VIC 3350, directly opposite St John of God Private Hospital.

As a new patient, you will need to complete a registration form to provide essential information prior to your consultation. If you have not filled this out beforehand, please arrive 15 minutes early to ensure that the registration process is completed in time for your appointment.
